Polycraft GP3481-F General Purpose RTV Condensation Cure Mould Making Silicone Rubber Including Red Hardener

This general purpose RTV (room temperature vulcanising) silicone makes mould making much more economical and is ideally suited for short runs and quick prototypes. The Shore A hardness is 20 which means that, once set, the rubber is quite soft and flexible. It has a working time of 40 minutes once mixed and items can be demoulded after 14-16 hours depending on the room temperature and humidity. This allows you much more working time to achieve the best mould possible. Supplied as a two-part mix; a jerry can of silicone and a blue catalyst. Mix slowly (to avoid air bubbles): 100g silicone to 3g catalyst. Silicone can be built up in layers as it will stick to itself. It has an unopened shelf life of 12 months. This silicone is not suitable for making moulds from any part of the body. Moulds made from this silicone should not be used for making food products. Use protective gloves when using this product.
